A bit of proof that is a lonely road, the photos are different places along the three hour drive. Although, to be fair, I did see maybe 8 other vehicles. Something like that.

Boy, the week has been a bit heart-wrenching.  It's a bit hard to swallow so much madness, no matter what time of year.

Holidays...

I spent some time this weekend getting in the holiday spirit. It turns out those holiday movies on the Lifetime and Hallmark channels are secretly some of the most cynical, depressing films I've ever seen. I officially do not understand why people judge my love of disaster movies. It was quite a relief to watch the last Rambo and the new Camel Spiders.

In other life hilarity, Elko must be one of the few places in the country that ran out of single strand colored Christmas lights! My bro bought a light net-thing instead, it is hilarious.  A very bordeaux holiday from Elko, Nevada!
