One of the things about baroque art that is a bit interesting is the focus on biblical stories. Artists seem to get fascinated with one, then bring it to life on the canvas.
I starting thinking about how this might apply to me- what literature would I feel inspired to do as art. And it turns out, I'm a bit dark. H.P Lovecraft anyone? Edgar Allan Poe? Ambrose Bierce? I think when I finish my current piece, ahoy, let's see what strange imagery we can fall into.
