Spring is coming to northern Nevada. You can always tell because the sage brush turns a little greener grey, and there is just the slightest hint of green grass that pokes out from under the dead brush from last year.
There is no water in the ephemeral drainages, so we are pretty low in snow this year. But the meadowlarks have made it, and they have quite a song.
